In case you hadn't guessed it already, these multiple series blogs don't really work for me, I think I am in a lil too scatter brained, so next time I will be sure to write them all ahead of time or just spit it all out at once.

So if both my readers are still actively involved in my blogging, I want to finish with the 4th part of freedom:

The Freedom of Sacrifice

Lets review, we choose freedom, we risk freedom, we serve for freedom, and, lastly, we sacrifice for freedom.  We can never truly be free without sacrifice, whether it is ours or the sacrifice of another.

We make the choice, we take the risk, we compromise to reach freedom, but a simple act of service in pursuit of your freedom isn't enough.  Your freedom lies past your point of knowledge and comfort and reason and previous success.  To grasp your freedom, whatever it might be, you are going to have to leave something behind: a sacrifice is required.

For my example I want to use the only person that has made the ultimate sacrifice and obtained the ultimate freedom: Jesus Christ.

The choice was made, go to earth and lead a sinless life.  The risk was taken, he was mocked and beaten and ridiculed.  He was the pinnacle of servanthood, even saying that the path to leadership starting with being a servant first.  And then, of course, he made the sacrifice; he gave up dignity for shame, comfort for torture, and life for death all for crimes he never committed and with all the power to change is situation in the midst of it.  For what freedom?  Yours, mine, every human on earth.  We are already free, the price was paid, and we could never repay.

True freedom isn't political, physical, or emotional but spiritual.  Our freedom doesn't rest in our circumstances, but in our hearts, because even if we achieve the first three steps to freedom we still have to produce a sacrifice that is never enough, which is why Christ came to give it for us.  Holy blood, spilled for the freedom of the world and the establishment of His kingdom.  What price freedom?  The price is everything, and the reward is beyond imagination.
