Last one out of MI can turn the light out.
Published 10.01.2007 by BW:Roberts inThose not familiar with the recent issues involving the budget meetings for the state of MI, after suspending the budget talks and nearly closing down several Government departments, Gov. Jennifer Granholm - recently reelected - has approved a 1.35 billion dollar tax increase for the residents of this beautiful state. Lucky for Michiganders, there is only a 7.4% unemployment rate, highest in the nation, which is only double the national average! Personally, I did not vote for Grannholm so I can't be blamed, but I feel sorry for my fellow citizens. I love MI, and I hope it turns around soon. It seems every 2000 jobs brought in 10000 leave due to high business tax. We will see, petitions for recall are already circulating, so who knows.
