Gearing up for our church's incredible kids camp this August I decided to go out and purchase a water bottle. But I didn't just purchase any hydration device; I bought a Camelbak. I didn't have much experience with the product, I just knew I was sick of the old and wanted something different, the Camelbak just seemed like a good buy. Shortly after my purchase, I realized I started a trend, now many of the church staff, including the Senior pastor, tote around these "adult sippy-cups." Its like my comfort device now, I can't go places without it. Its also very personal, no one sips from my Camelbak!
Here's the spiritual application:
You will carry with you what you care about most. What is it that people see you care about? Is any of it worth carrying?
I say put Jesus in your Camelbak and let His living water quench your thirst: too cheesy?
